The work of The Diversity Collegium is focused on the following cycles
for 2007-2009:
The Collegium has divided itself into two Mini Think Tanks focusing on
the topics of: The Work, Theory and Practice of Diversity and
Inclusion, and Generational Differences.
The Mini Think Tanks will spend the next 18-20 months exploring these
two topics and will be the focus of the Collegium's bi-annual
meetings. The exploration of the topics will include inviting guest
speakers
and thought leaders from other fields to the bi-annual meetings,
one-day
Alliance events for small audiences
of diversity practitioners and leaders, and other data collection
efforts.
The next cycle involves each Mini Think Tank writing a final paper
reflecting their exploration, learning and recommendations for their
topic.
The final cycle involves a Symposium organized by The Alliance, at
which the Mini Think Tanks will present their papers for dialogue and
discussion. Traditionally, The Alliance Symposia have invited a wide
spectrum of diversity practitioners, leaders and scholars to
participate in
their events.
